The Event
The London Biopharma Summit is an exclusive gathering of the world's foremost biotech executives, investors, and innovators. Hosted at The Shard in London on 15–16 November, 2026, the two-day summit brings together a curated group of senior leaders for high-level discussion, strategic insight, and exceptional networking. Day 1 focuses on Cell & Gene Therapies, while Day 2 covers Small Molecules, Biologics & Diagnostics.
The Summit takes place over two days — Sunday, 15 November and Monday, 16 November, 2026 — at Shangri-La The Shard, 31 St Thomas Street, London SE1 9QU. The Shangri-La hotel occupies the upper floors (34–52) of The Shard, a London icon and the tallest building in the United Kingdom, rising 310 metres above the Thames. The Shard is just a five-minute walk from London Bridge station, which is served by National Rail (Southeastern, Thameslink and Southern services), the Jubilee line, and the Northern line. Borough station (Northern line) is also within easy reach, approximately a 10-minute walk away.
Attendees are senior leaders from across the global biotech and life sciences ecosystem, including CEOs, CSOs, and C-suite executives of publicly listed and private biotech companies; biotech-focused investors and fund managers; senior figures from pharmaceutical partners and CROs; and a curated selection of innovators driving the next wave of drug discovery and advanced therapies. Attendance is carefully controlled.
The full-day programme includes keynote addresses and panel discussions from confirmed speakers, structured and informal networking sessions, a working business lunch with panoramic views of London and exceptional food and drink provided by Shangri-La, morning and afternoon canapé receptions, and an afternoon drinks reception through to the early evening. Practical Information
The Summit is held at Shangri-La The Shard, 31 St Thomas Street, London SE1 9QU, one of London's most iconic landmarks. The nearest station is London Bridge, just a five-minute walk away, served by National Rail (Southeastern, Thameslink and Southern), the Jubilee line, and the Northern line. Borough station (Northern line) is also nearby, approximately a 10-minute walk. The Shard is easily accessible by taxi or Uber as well. We recommend travelling by public transport; on-site parking is not available, but several NCP car parks are located in the surrounding area.
Smart Casual.
Yes. Registered delegates will receive a curated list of recommended hotels in the London Bridge, Southwark, and City areas, ranging from boutique properties to five-star options, as part of their pre-event briefing pack. The Shangri-La Hotel at The Shard is located within the building itself for those who prefer to be on-site. A limited number of rooms are available to book through Onyx, and details will be included in your ticket confirmation email.
The Onyx Summit is an exclusively in-person event. We believe the most valuable conversations in biotech happen face-to-face, and the summit has been designed to maximise those interactions. Selected keynote sessions may be made available to the Onyx Newsroom audience following the event.
